Kimbra Westervelt

An artist’s heart soul, and history

Multi-Talented and classically trained singer Kimbra Westervelt performs regularly throughout the Los Angeles area. Having traveled extensively over the globe, she is honored to have toured with the USO in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Educated in the U.S. and abroad, Kimbra studied opera, pop and jazz and combines her training with elements of soul and r&B for a unique sound. Her time in France and Italy were culturally and musically enlightening, and her performances in Italy earned her the Soggiorno eTurismo Milazzo Award.

Her acting credits span both stage and screen, including roles in traditional as well as ground-breaking new works. She is privileged to have had her vocals featured in such commercial hits as “Night At The Roxbury” and art house films such as “This Film Is Not Yet Rated,” which won the BFCA for Best documentary in the United Kingdom.

Her entrepreneurial spirit led Kimbra to start her own production company, Local Girl Films, in Los Angeles, California, which produces a wide variety of endeavors in both film and music, including original recording projects.
